Version 1.9 — Effective 1 August 2026 · Updated 5 October 2026
PetBoard offers the following paid subscription plans to operators.
| Plan | Monthly price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | ₹199 / month | Single location, up to 5 active pets in a month |
| Growth | ₹499 / month | Single location, up to 20 active pets in a month |
| Pro | From ₹999 / month per branch or brand | Unlimited pets, role-based staff, multi-location and multi-brand with a head-office rollup |
| Enterprise | Arranged directly with PetBoard | Bespoke, governed by the commercial terms agreed in that arrangement |
On the Pro plan, pricing is per active brand or branch: if you operate more than one brand or branch on PetBoard, your account is on the Pro plan and your subscription is charged at the Pro rate for each active location, as set out in Section 13.
On Pro, the price for each branch or brand depends on what you run there. One service line (the non-clinical line: boarding, daycare, training, grooming and pet sitting; or a veterinary clinic) is ₹999 a month. Both service lines are ₹1,999 a month, with Internal Inventory included. Add-on modules cost extra. No branch or brand pays more than ₹2,999 a month. The exact price is shown on our pricing page and in your dashboard before you pay.
Solo and Growth are single-location plans. They are available only for one brand or branch location and cannot be extended to cover an additional brand, branch, outlet or operating location. If you operate more than one branch or brand on PetBoard, those plans are not available to you and your subscription is on Pro, which is priced from ₹999 per month for each branch or brand you run — Pro supports an unlimited number of active pets per location. An operator on Solo or Growth who opens a second location moves up to Pro; they do not take a second Solo or Growth subscription.
Annual plans. Annual subscriptions are available at ten months' price for twelve months (Solo ₹1,990 / Growth ₹4,990 / Pro from ₹9,990 per year for each branch or brand). Annual subscriptions are arranged directly with PetBoard by invoice or payment link rather than set up self-serve from your dashboard. Please contact us if you would like to be billed annually.
These are our published pricing tiers and are also shown on our pricing page for your reference. The pricing page and this Policy are kept consistent; this Policy prevails in case of any conflict.
Before you commit to a plan, and again before any payment method is set up, your dashboard will show you the exact plan, price and billing cycle you are agreeing to.
Monthly subscriptions are recurring subscriptions. When choosing a monthly plan, you will be asked to separately authorise an auto-debit or recurring payment instruction through PetBoard's payment partner, Razorpay, using a supported payment method such as UPI AutoPay, card e-mandate or another available recurring payment method. Before you approve the recurring payment arrangement, you will be shown, as applicable:
Once authorised, the applicable subscription amount will be automatically charged for each monthly billing cycle until the subscription or recurring payment mandate is cancelled.
The maximum amount you authorise is set at your actual monthly subscription total, with no padding. Any increase in that amount requires you to approve a new or revised payment mandate before it takes effect.
For recurring payments governed by the applicable e-mandate framework, a pre-debit notification will ordinarily be sent by the relevant bank, UPI provider or payment service provider before the scheduled debit. Any facility to pause, decline or revoke a particular debit will be subject to the controls made available by your bank, UPI application or payment service provider. PetBoard does not independently control notifications generated by your bank, UPI application, card issuer or payment service provider.
Quarterly subscriptions. Where PetBoard agrees a quarterly subscription with you, it is a recurring subscription charged once every three months, and this Section applies to it as it does to a monthly subscription. Before you approve the recurring payment instruction, you will be shown the quarterly amount, the billing frequency and the date of the first debit. The maximum amount you authorise is your actual quarterly subscription total, with no padding. If you cancel, future charges stop and your paid access continues until the end of the quarter already paid for.
Annual subscriptions are prepaid for a period of twelve months and are not automatically renewed. At the end of an annual subscription period, you may choose whether to renew. PetBoard may provide a payment link or renewal option displaying the then-applicable annual price. No annual renewal amount will be charged merely because your previous annual subscription has expired, and no renewal amount will be charged unless you take an affirmative action to renew and complete the applicable payment process. If PetBoard introduces an auto-renewal option for annual subscriptions in the future, it will apply only after obtaining your separate and explicit authorisation.
PetBoard will not initiate a paid subscription or recurring payment mandate through a pre-selected option, pre-ticked checkbox or passive consent. You must take an explicit affirmative action to:
Your acceptance of PetBoard's Terms, reservation of founder pricing or continued use of the free beta version does not, by itself, authorise PetBoard to debit any amount.
Some operators hold pricing commitments made before this Policy took effect. For the purposes of this Policy, “Founder Pricing” means the discounted subscription fee offered by PetBoard to its first fifty (50) operators, which remains fixed and continues to apply from the commencement of the relevant operator's first paid subscription, for so long as that operator maintains an uninterrupted and active paid subscription with PetBoard. PetBoard has separately committed to certain early operators as follows:
Once paid billing is operational, cancellation is available through the billing controls in your PetBoard dashboard. PetBoard will not require a telephone call, or impose a cancellation fee or a mandatory retention process, as a condition to cancellation. When a monthly subscription is cancelled:
Where a recurring debit has already entered banking or payment processing before cancellation is completed, PetBoard may not be able to stop that particular debit. Any resulting erroneous or duplicate payment will be reviewed and appropriately reversed where applicable.
You may choose not to continue an annual subscription at any time. Since annual plans are paid in advance and do not auto-renew, cancellation or non-renewal means your subscription expires at the end of the annual period already paid for.
Apart from the 14-day money-back guarantee on your first annual payment (Section 6), annual subscription payments are generally non-refundable once paid, including where you stop using PetBoard before the end of the subscription year, except where a refund is required under applicable law or is expressly approved by PetBoard because of an incorrect, duplicate or unauthorised charge attributable to PetBoard.
There is no cancellation fee.
PetBoard provides a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of a monthly, quarterly or annual subscription.
If PetBoard is not right for you, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the date of the first invoice issued for your monthly, quarterly or annual subscription. Your dashboard shows the exact date the window closes. You are not required to provide a reason. An eligible refund under this guarantee will be for 100% of the first monthly, quarterly or annual subscription payment actually charged to you. PetBoard will not make a pro-rata deduction merely because you used PetBoard during part of the 14-day period.
The 14-day money-back guarantee:
This guarantee does not limit any non-excludable rights that may be available to you under applicable law.
A refund is not automatic. You must submit a refund request within the applicable refund period using the refund request facility available through your PetBoard dashboard.
Where the dashboard refund facility is temporarily unavailable, you may submit the request by writing to grievance@petboard.in from the email address associated with your PetBoard account, providing sufficient payment or account information for PetBoard to identify the transaction.
Submission of a refund request does not itself constitute completion or settlement of the refund. PetBoard follows a request-then-approve refund process.
Once a refund request is received, PetBoard will review it to verify whether it satisfies the eligibility requirements of this Policy, and will ordinarily complete that review and communicate approval or rejection within 5 business days of receiving all information reasonably required to verify the request. For the purposes of this Policy, business days mean days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public and festival holidays.
For a refund requested under the 14-day money-back guarantee, the approval process is an eligibility verification process. An otherwise eligible request will not be refused merely because you used PetBoard during the 14-day period, or because you have not provided a reason for cancelling. A refund request may be rejected where, for example:
PetBoard will communicate the outcome of the refund request to you. Once an eligible refund request is approved, PetBoard will initiate the refund through Razorpay to the original payment method used for the transaction, ordinarily within 5 business days after approval.
After PetBoard initiates the refund with Razorpay, a normal refund generally takes approximately 5–7 business days to be credited back to the original payment method, depending upon the bank, card issuer, UPI provider, payment network and other intermediaries involved. Accordingly, where no additional verification is required, an eligible refund will ordinarily:
The banking settlement period starts after the approved refund has been initiated with Razorpay, and not from the date on which the refund request was first submitted.
Banking or payment-network delays outside PetBoard's reasonable control may occasionally result in the amount taking longer to appear in your account. Where available, PetBoard may provide the relevant refund reference, ARN, RRN, UTR or other payment reference to assist you in following up with your bank or payment provider.
Where PetBoard approves and initiates a refund of the first monthly, quarterly or annual subscription payment under the 14-day money-back guarantee, PetBoard will also cancel the associated paid subscription and, where there is one, take steps to cancel the related recurring payment mandate, so that subsequent subscription payments are not initiated.
You should nevertheless verify the cancellation status of the mandate through your PetBoard account and, where available, through your UPI application, bank or card issuer.
If an amount is subsequently debited because of a processing error despite successful cancellation of the subscription and mandate, please notify PetBoard promptly so that the transaction can be investigated and, where appropriate, refunded.
After expiry of the 14-day money-back period, monthly, quarterly or annual subscription payments already successfully charged are generally non-refundable. You may, however, cancel the subscription at any time to prevent future subscription renewals. PetBoard does not charge a cancellation fee.
Nothing in this Policy prevents PetBoard from issuing a refund or adjustment in cases involving duplicate payments, incorrect charges, technical billing errors, unauthorised charges attributable to PetBoard, service failures for which a refund is appropriate, or where a refund is required under applicable law.
Except for the 14-day first-payment money-back guarantee, or where otherwise required under applicable law, failure to use PetBoard, reduced usage of the Platform, temporary inactivity, failure to log in, or a decision not to use available features does not by itself create a right to a refund.
Subscription charges relate to availability of access during the relevant subscription period and not to the volume of actual use, unless the applicable plan expressly provides otherwise.
If your account is charged more than once for the same subscription period, an incorrect subscription amount is charged, or you believe a payment has been taken without the authorisation required under the applicable payment arrangement, please notify PetBoard at grievance@petboard.in.
PetBoard will investigate the transaction and, where an incorrect or duplicate payment attributable to PetBoard is confirmed, initiate an appropriate reversal or refund.
If a scheduled subscription payment fails because of insufficient funds, an expired payment instrument, a declined transaction, mandate failure, bank restrictions, technical issues or any other reason, PetBoard may notify you and request that you update or re-authorise your payment method.
PetBoard may, through its payment partner, re-attempt the payment where permitted under the applicable mandate and payment network rules. PetBoard will not create a new recurring payment mandate without the authorisation required from you.
Until the outstanding subscription amount is successfully paid, PetBoard may suspend or restrict access to paid features after providing reasonable notice. Suspension for non-payment does not waive any outstanding amount already due.
PetBoard may provide a reasonable grace period following a failed subscription payment, during which your account may continue to remain active. The duration of any grace period may depend on the subscription plan, payment method, technical circumstances or commercial arrangement, and will be communicated through the Platform where applicable.
Where an automatic payment that you set up in your PetBoard dashboard fails, your account continues to work as normal until the end of the third (3rd) day after the day the payment first failed, or until the end of a period you have already paid for, whichever is later. From the following day, new bookings and most other changes are paused until your subscription is paid again. You can still view and export all your data. PetBoard will tell you these dates by email and on the Platform.
A grace period is provided as a convenience and does not constitute an extension of the subscription period or a waiver of the payment obligation.
Where such an option is available on the Platform, you may upgrade to a higher subscription plan. Before confirming an upgrade, PetBoard will display the applicable revised price and any immediate amount payable.
As of the effective date of this Policy, self-service plan upgrade functionality is not yet available and is planned to be introduced after launch. Until it is made available, a plan upgrade may be requested through the process communicated by PetBoard from time to time.
Once self-service upgrades become available, where an upgrade takes effect during an existing billing cycle, PetBoard may charge a proportionate amount for the remaining portion of the current billing period, or apply the upgraded plan from the next billing cycle. The applicable treatment, including any additional amount payable, the revised recurring subscription amount and the effective date of the upgrade, will be shown to you before you confirm.
Because your payment mandate is registered at your actual monthly or quarterly total with no padding, an upgrade that increases the recurring amount requires you to approve a new or revised payment mandate before it takes effect.
You may request or select a downgrade to a lower subscription plan where such an option is available. Unless otherwise communicated before confirmation, a downgrade takes effect from the beginning of the next billing cycle. The subscription fee already paid for the current billing period will not ordinarily be refunded or adjusted merely because a downgrade is requested during that period.
Certain features, storage limits, user limits, integrations or other functionality available under the previous plan may cease to be available when the downgrade takes effect. PetBoard will communicate any material impact of a downgrade before you confirm the change.
Adding any additional brand, branch, outlet or operating location to your PetBoard account results in your entire account moving to the Pro plan. Following that upgrade, all brands, branches, outlets and operating locations associated with your account — including your existing or original location — are charged at the applicable Pro per-location subscription rate. Subscription fees are calculated on a per-location basis, and you are responsible for the Pro plan fees applicable to all active locations on your account. Access to the additional location(s) is activated only after you confirm the applicable pricing and complete the required payment authorisation.
The applicable subscription charge for any additional brand or branch will be clearly shown to you before activation. Because an additional brand or branch increases your recurring total above the amount you originally authorised, you will be required to approve a new or revised payment mandate for the increased amount. No additional recurring charge will be debited unless and until that revised or new mandate has been duly authorised by you.
Where an active brand or branch is removed during an ongoing billing period, the subscription fee already paid for that billing period will not ordinarily be refunded on a pro-rata basis. The reduction in recurring charges will generally take effect from the next applicable billing cycle.
As of the effective date of this Policy, PetBoard Technologies Private Limited is not registered under the Goods and Services Tax laws in India. Accordingly, until PetBoard becomes liable for and obtains GST registration:
Where a refund is processed while PetBoard remains unregistered under GST, PetBoard may issue an appropriate commercial refund note, adjustment note, cancellation receipt or similar accounting document recording the reversal or refund.
After PetBoard obtains GST registration, applicable GST may be charged in addition to or as part of the displayed subscription price, as communicated at the time of purchase. PetBoard will thereafter issue appropriate GST-compliant tax invoices, credit notes and other documents as required by applicable law. Eligible recipients may claim input tax credit subject to applicable GST law and fulfilment of the statutory conditions.
Operators are responsible for providing accurate billing information, including the legal or trade name, billing address, email address and, after PetBoard becomes GST-registered, GSTIN or other tax information where relevant. PetBoard may rely on the billing information supplied by the operator when preparing invoices and related documents. Requests for correction of billing information should be submitted promptly. PetBoard may decline retrospective changes where such changes are not legally or operationally permissible.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, subscription prices displayed for operators in India are denominated and payable in Indian Rupees (INR).
Any conversion fee, foreign transaction charge or exchange-rate difference imposed by an operator's bank or payment provider, where an international payment instrument is used, will be governed by that provider's terms and will not be borne by PetBoard.
PetBoard may revise subscription plans, pricing or features from time to time. Any new or revised price will be displayed before it becomes applicable to a new subscription.
Where a price change affects an existing monthly or quarterly subscription, PetBoard will provide appropriate prior information before charging the revised subscription amount, and will comply with applicable payment mandate requirements.
For annual plans, the price applicable to a future annual renewal will be shown before you decide whether to renew.
Any pricing, promotional pricing or price-lock commitment separately provided to you will be honoured in accordance with the terms communicated when that pricing was offered.
Cancellation of a paid subscription does not automatically result in immediate deletion of your account data.
Following expiry of your paid subscription, PetBoard may place the relevant account or subscription in a read-only or limited-access mode, in accordance with PetBoard's Terms and applicable data retention arrangements.
Where available, PetBoard's data export functionality may continue to allow you to retrieve or download your records.
Retention, export and deletion of personal data are governed separately by PetBoard's Terms, Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum, as applicable.
PetBoard currently uses Razorpay as its payment processing partner for subscription payments and refunds.
Payment processing, mandate registration, bank notifications and refund settlement may also be subject to the terms, technical processes and timelines of Razorpay, your bank, card issuer, UPI application or other relevant payment service provider.
PetBoard does not store or control banking credentials merely because a recurring payment mandate is created through Razorpay.
