What petboard is

petboard is a single dashboard for pet boarding, daycare, training, grooming, pet park, pool, sitter-network, and retail operators across India. Intake forms, time-slot appointments, WhatsApp-native photo updates, per-pet care schedules, session logs, stay pages, and invoicing. One tool instead of spreadsheets, Notion intake forms, and three separate WhatsApp groups.

Why we built it

Pet service operators in India already run their businesses on WhatsApp. The broken part is everything around the messages: intake scattered across chats, schedules on a notebook, payments in a separate spreadsheet, and no single place to see who is checked in or when they go home.

petboard keeps WhatsApp where it already works (parent updates flow through the operator's own WhatsApp number) and replaces the rest with one structured dashboard. No parent app to install. No Cloud API to get approved. No Meta verification waiting three months.

Who is building it

petboard is built by Sahil, based in Bangalore. Before writing the first line of code, Sahil spoke with 50+ pet boarding facilities, home boarders, daycares, trainers, groomers, pet park operators, pool operators, sitter-network coordinators, and retail-attached pet shops across India about how they actually run their businesses. Every feature in petboard came out of those conversations.

petboard is free for every operator during beta. After beta, tier pricing starts at ₹199/month for solo operators, ₹499/month for growing teams, and ₹999/month for facilities. The first 50 operators (cohort 1, closed May 15, 2026) locked their tier price forever; new signups pay the same starting rates but are subject to change.

How we handle your data

• Primary pet-parent data is stored in AWS Mumbai (Supabase, ap-south-1). Does not leave India.
• Every petboard account is governed by a Data Processing Addendum under the DPDP Act, 2023.
• Client data is isolated per operator. Never shared or visible across accounts.
• Export or delete all your data at any time. No lock-in.
• Care photos and videos flow through your own WhatsApp and are never stored on petboard servers.
• Free migration from spreadsheets or other tools, handled with a signed chain-of-custody record.
