Pro: one service line, or both
Pro is ₹999 a month per branch for one service line: pet care (boarding, daycare, training, grooming and sitting) or a veterinary clinic. Both lines are ₹1,999 per branch, with Internal Inventory included.
The clinic line: consultations on the clinic's day board, prescriptions printed on your letterhead with your registration number, and one clinical record per patient. Roles & Permissions is included: you choose what each staff member can see and do. Adding it to a Pro branch that runs boarding today adds ₹1,000, or less if you already hold Internal Inventory or Pro Staff, because both cost less once you run both lines. What counts as an active pet?
An active pet is any pet in your account with at least 1 booking touching the current calendar month, across any service type, in any status except cancelled. Your full pet records stay forever. petboard never auto-archives.
How we measure. We count each pet in your account that has at least 1 booking whose dates touch the current calendar month, where the booking status is anything except cancelled. Pets your business owns are not counted. Your dashboard home shows the count when you are one pet from your plan's limit.
Cohort 1 grandfather. For the 50 operators in cohort 1, this active-pet definition cannot be tightened. Any future tightening applies only to new signups, not cohort 1.
What's included in your plan
Every feature on our home page, on each /for/* page, and on /how-it-works is covered by your plan price, except what is priced on Pro: the add-on modules listed below (Internal Inventory, Retail, Pro Staff), a second service line, and each extra branch or brand. For cohort 1 operators, that scope is frozen at their signup date. For new operators, scope is current as of today and feature inclusion is subject to future product decisions.

Your data stays yours.
Go to Settings, Compliance & Data, Data & Privacy. Tap Download zip. You get a zip with CSVs (clients, pets, bookings, payments, intakes, training, expenses) plus a JSON file of your records. Clinic records and pet weight history are included. Open the CSVs in Excel or Google Sheets. Re-import the JSON into any system that accepts it.
This is not on a roadmap. It ships live today. Your clients, pets, bookings and payments are one download away, as spreadsheets you can open anywhere.
Add-on modules
Some capabilities are substantial enough that we build them as separate modules. These are not included in any plan price. They attach on Pro at their list price — Solo and Growth are not modular. List price applies to everyone including cohort 1 founders. The cohort 1 tier-lock covers the base subscription price only, not modules.
- • Internal Inventory: stock with batch and expiry that depletes as care happens. Adds ₹500 on a single service line, and is included free once you run boarding and a clinic together.
- • Retail / point-of-sale: SKU + inventory + vendors + sell-flow. For operators who sell pet products in-store. Adds ₹500.
- • Pro Staff: attendance, zoning, shift scheduling and task routing, set up with you. Adds ₹1,000 on a single service line, or ₹500 if you run both.
- • Future premium capabilities will be added here as they ship.
What a module adds depends on what else you run, so the figures above are the common cases and every combination is priced in full in the price table below. Whatever you tick, a branch never costs more than ₹2,999 a month. You choose whether to activate. Modules aren't bundled by default. Custom scope (Enterprise)
Pro runs more than one branch or brand, from ₹999 a branch, with one “All locations” view across them. We switch extra branches and brands on for you. If you want bundled pricing across modules, or scope beyond what Pro covers, we handle that as a custom engagement. Pricing scales with scope; payment terms are quarterly or annual.

Cohort 1 — closed 15 May 2026
The first 50 operators signed up under a forever-lock guarantee. Cohort 1 closed on 15 May 2026 with all 50 slots filled. Those operators stay at their signup rates (Solo ₹199 / Growth ₹499 / Pro ₹999) while they keep paying, regardless of any future pricing changes.
New signups today pay the same starting rates of ₹199 / ₹499 / ₹999 per month. Those rates are subject to change as petboard adds capabilities and the market evolves. We don't pre-commit to a future number. We publish any change with at least 30 days notice and we never raise rates retroactively.

Pricing is one of the easier things to get honest about, and one of the worst things to get wrong. If our website said your plan includes something, and we charged you extra for it, write to sahil@petboard.in. We reply within 2 business days. We check our page history. For every extra payment you made while the website said it was included, we refund the extra amount. After that, we will not charge you extra for it unless we email you 30 days before. If you are a cohort 1 operator, we will not charge you extra for it at all. If our website can be read two ways about what your plan includes, we use the reading that is better for you.
